We Can't Get It Out Of Our Heads! |
Now that the tour is over, we haven't been able to get Kylie's new song out of our heads! We decided not to post it before so that we didn't spoil any major surprises for people attending the show but, we feel that it's alright that we post it now! The track titled "Better Than Today" was written by UK singer & songwriter Nerina Pallot. The track has a definite "Kylie" feel and if it's any indication of what direction she is going in for the new album, we are incredibly excited!

Kylie's New York Encore Costumes |

The first (left) costume was worn for both of the October 11 & 12 shows, designed by Alexander McQueen. The last costume (right) was worn on her final night. The designer is unknown but it appears to be a white version of the original black costume she wore during her Madrid 2009 concert. Sensational as always!
Kylie will remain in the US to record more material for the new album following the conclusion of her tour. We can't wait to hear!

Minogue show out of this world |

(Toronto Sun) - Kylie Minogue’s first-ever North American tour touched down at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Friday night for its only Canadian stop.
And the 41-year-old Australian singer didn’t disappoint when it came to her glamorous, sexy costumes (courtesy of Jean-Paul Gaultier); flashy, futuristic show design; and clear, high voice; even if her lightweight dance-pop songs aren’t exactly groundbreaking.
Minogue, who has sold 60 million albums worldwide over the last two decades, has never really broken through in North America save for a few hits like a cover of Loco-Motion and her own Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, thus the first road trip over here after all this time.
Still, the blonde bombshell clearly knows how to command a stage, despite the fact that only the floor and lower bowl of the ACC was sold, and has devoted fans who responded wildly to every shake of her shoulder, wiggle of her hips, or flick of her wrist around that gorgeous face.
“Is there something in the drinking water?” she asked towards the end of the evening as the crowd was going nuts. “What’s going on? What a magical night. I feel it.”

"Minogue Nation" |

(The New Yorker) - Why, twenty-two years after her first hit single, “The Loco-Motion,” is the Australian singer Kylie Minogue only now embarking on her first North American tour?
In most of the world, Minogue is as big as a pop star can get. She has sold more than forty million records worldwide and has been photographed seemingly everywhere in Australia and England. Queen Elizabeth II even gave her that medal which pop stars get that gives them free entry into museums. So why have Americans resisted her? She has released two of the most effervescent, clever pop tunes of the past ten years-“Can’t Get You Out of My Head” and “Slow”-and couldn’t be more media-friendly.
Is it the relentlessly upbeat disco aesthetic that throws us off? Is it the costume changes? Does Madonna not want another tiny, perfect disco icon in her home zone? Aren’t we supposed to be connoisseurs of sugar?
Stand up for common sense, America, and see Minogue during her three-night stand at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Oct. 11-13. - Sasha Frere-Jones

Kylie Proves to Be Big Hit in Los Angeles! |
The sell-out show at the Hollywood Bowl saw Minogue adorned in feathers and lowered onto the stage on top of a giant metallic skull.
Fans were enthusiastic about the two-hour, fast-paced performance that included her crowd-pleaser Can't get You Out of My Head, her 2001 club hit.
"The energy is so incredible. Everyone's dancing the whole time", said concertgoer Billy Folchetti. "Her outfits were incredible. It was absolutely an all-around fabulous show."
The 41-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist is performing in the United States for the first time in a music career which has spanned more than two decades.
Minogue performed outside of San Francisco and in Las Vegas before coming to LA. Next will be stops in Chicago, New York and Toronto.
The six-stop run is said to be an effort to test the waters in the US.
If deemed to be successful, promoters say Minogue may be back for a longer tour.
